ACTING WORKSHOP THAT WILL GET YOU WORK -
As an actor, what guaranties of success do you have?
There is only one guarantee: that you stand out in an audition and on the job. This can only be done by honing your craft through experience and practice. This practical scene study workshop will equip you with the tools to do just that.
Anton Saunders is a professional working actor and director who regularly works with clients ranging from the Old Vic Theatre to the BBC, he is the director and co-founder of The Betsey Group and has been directing and teaching actors for the last five years. Using the Stanislavsky, Strasberg and Meisner techniques, he has formulated a method that provides you with a workable set of tools that will ensure strong performances in all circumstances. Jake Wood is currently a regular in Eastenders cannot recommend Anton highly enough as he combines a clearly structured technical approach that is intended to draw out the actor's individual spontaneous instincts, thus helping the actor to work in the moment. Benedict Wong who recently featured in Prometheus said that Anton provides you with a clear acting technique that will arm you with the truth and essence of any piece of work, allowing you to play freely. This tried and tested method has demonstrably helped actors eliminate self-consciousness and removed the obstacles to achieving great acting. For Doug Allen who recently played the lead in Nick Love’s new feature The Firm, this approach to acting helped me deal with the ever increasing pressures of being on a TV or Film set.
